Regulatory Status
Reflow Zone UK Ltd is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) under the Payment Services Regulations 2017 (SI 2017/752), which implements the revised Payment Services Directive (PSD2) in the United Kingdom.
Our authorisation can be verified on the FCA's Financial Services Register at register.fca.org.uk by searching for our firm name "Reflow Zone UK Ltd" or our FCA Firm Reference Number 811078.
Important: If you are contacted by anyone claiming to represent Reflow Zone UK Ltd who is not listed on the FCA Register, please report this to the FCA's Consumer Helpline on 0800 111 6768 and to us at compliance@reflowzone.io. Do not provide any personal or financial information to unauthorised parties.
We are also a registered member of Open Banking Limited (OBL), the entity responsible for delivering and maintaining the UK Open Banking Standard under the oversight of the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) and the FCA.
Authorised Activities
Under our FCA authorisation, Reflow Zone UK Ltd is permitted to carry out the following payment services as defined in Schedule 1 of the PSRs 2017:
Providing online services to give consolidated information on payment accounts held by a payment service user with one or more payment service providers, including banks and other account providers.
Initiating payment orders at the request of a payment service user with respect to a payment account held at another payment service provider, including bank-to-bank transfers.
Our authorisation does not extend to: holding client money or funds in transit; providing credit, insurance, or investment advice; currency exchange services; or any regulated activity under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 not listed above.
Client Money & Safeguarding
As an Account Information Service Provider and Payment Initiation Service Provider, Reflow Zone UK Ltd does not hold, receive, or transmit client money or funds. We are not a payment institution and do not have the capability to hold funds at any point in a payment transaction.
When we initiate a payment on your behalf, the funds flow directly from your bank account to the payee's bank account. At no point does Reflow have custody or control over those funds. The payment is processed by the participating banks under their own authorisations and obligations.
As we do not hold client money, the Payment Accounts Regulations safeguarding requirements do not apply to our activities. Customers do not need to concern themselves with segregated accounts in respect of Reflow's services.
Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS)
FSCS coverage does not apply to the account information or payment initiation services provided by Reflow Zone UK Ltd. The FSCS protects eligible deposits and certain regulated investments — it does not cover pure payment services or technology/API services of the type we provide.
Customers using our API platform are not eligible for FSCS protection in connection with the services we provide. Because we do not hold client money, there are no funds at risk in the event of our insolvency.
If you are uncertain whether FSCS protection applies to any financial product or service you use, please visit fscs.org.uk or contact the FSCS directly.

Conflicts of Interest
Reflow Zone UK Ltd maintains a Conflicts of Interest Policy in accordance with FCA SYSC 10 requirements. We have identified the following potential conflicts relevant to our business model and the controls we apply to manage them:
| Potential Conflict | Control |
|---|---|
| Reflow operating as a technology provider to businesses that may compete with each other | Strict data segregation between customer environments; no cross-customer data access or sharing |
| Reflow's commercial interest in maximising API usage vs. End-User data minimisation obligations | Consent scopes are strictly limited to what the business customer declares; we enforce scope limits at the API layer |
| Staff holding financial interests in business customers | Staff personal account dealing policy; mandatory disclosure of outside business interests; compliance sign-off required |
| Referral relationships with third-party service providers | Full disclosure of any referral arrangements; no incentivised referrals that could compromise objectivity |
